Cycling Australia is the national governing body of competive cycling disciplines of road, track and mountain bike in Australia. Each State and Territory cycling association is an affiliate organisation (member) of Cycling Australia. Cycling Australia is affiliated with the Australian Sports Commission (ASC), the International Cycling Union (UCI), the Australian Olympic Committee (AOC) and the Australian Commonwealth Games Association. |

Department of National Parks, Recreation, Sport and Racing is now responsible for a range of parks, recreation, racing and sport and is the department responsible for cycling in Queensland. The Queensland government provides a range of funding opportunities and support for these industries and greatly assists Cycling Queensland provide our members with a range of services and facilities. |

Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS) The Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS) is an initiative of the Queensland Government aimed at supporting the State's elite and identified developing athletes. The QAS Cycling program operates as a medal potential program focusing on developing Queensland cyclists to the level of national representation. The program incorporates cyclists from the track, road and mountain bike disciplines integrating both able-bodied and disabled cyclists. |
