Cycling
Queensland, in operation since 1893 is the governing body for
competetive cycling in Queensland and is affiliated to the national
body - Cycling Australia and the International body - UCI.
Cycling
Queensland has 30 clubs located throughout the state and has
around 2500 affiliated members.
Cycling Queensland and its clubs produce annual calendars
of events to cover the two disciplines - Road, and Track racing
events. Racing is conducted through club, multi-club and open
events, culminating in Queensland State Championships for the
two disciplines each year.
Cycling Queensland caters for members from the Junior Under
11 division through to Masters Men and Women well into their
70's.
Cycling
Queensland welcomes new members who may join by becoming a member
of one of our Cycling Clubs. For newcomers to the sport, 1 Day
Permits are available to try this exciting sport. Once affiliated
with Cycling Queensland, the member can compete anywhere in
Australia in any Road or Track event conducted under the auspices
of Cycling Australia. Membership with Cycling Queensland includes
personal and public liability insurance cover for racing and
training.
